SAPUK Fundraising Volunteer

A Fundraising Volunteer plays an important part in supporting our mission by helping to raise essential funds, build positive community relationships, and champion the organisation.

In this position, the volunteer supports the planning and delivery of fundraising activities, campaigns, and events. They help build relationships with local businesses, community groups, and supporters, and they promote fundraising initiatives through social media, email, and community networks. The role also involves identifying new opportunities, contributing ideas, and assisting with administrative tasks, including tracking donations, preparing materials, and maintaining records. Throughout all activities, the volunteer represents the organisation professionally and positively. build positive community relationships, and champion the organisation’s work. This role suits someone who enjoys connecting with people, being creative, and contributing to meaningful change. The role includes writing emails to potential benefactors and supporters, liaising with the community, and serving as the face of SAPUK by raising awareness of our work and encouraging donations. Volunteers also contact and approach companies to explore opportunities for support.
