    The Birstall Methodist Lunch Club provides a weekly two course lunch with a hot drink on a Wednesday betwee n12 and 2 pm to approximately 35 people. The lunch club members are elderly, ranging between 80 to 99 years old.

    The WWE GNS offers support to all adult residents of Woodhouse and Woodhouse Eaves. Our most requested services are lifts, to appointments and to social activities, and befriending. We have a Community Wheelchair scheme and hold an annual Community Picnic. Our Community Cafe is in its first year.

    We are a national charity that fights food waste and brings communities together at the same time. We provide FREE weekly meals to local communities using surplus fruit and vegetables that would otherwise be wasted. We rely on local volunteers to support and run the meals for their community.
