About this role
You will need to be able to commit to one four hour shift, either a morning or an afternoon, every week. You will be working either in the community cafe, the fruit and veg shop, helping out with the community fridge, the community garden or supporting work elsewhere around the Village. Many roles are customer facing and will involve use of a till so you will need to have a good standard of numeracy and literacy to use the iPad and iZettle payment system. Our wonderfully loyal customers are our greatest asset so you will need to be friendly and welcoming and you will no doubt enjoy chatting to them as you work!
There is an instruction manual in each area to ensure that you know exactly what to do when setting up or cleaning down and on quiet days there is a monthly jobs list to work through to ensure that each area in the Village is well cared for and maintained.
