About this role
- We are a fast growing group on Facebook, who care about our Saffron Ward.
- we litter pick as individuals and as a group on a Saturday morning.
- free litter picking equipment can be borrowed and bags are provided.
- we have the support of the Leicester City Council cleansing team, Parks and Cllr Elly Cutkelvin and Cllr Ted Cassidy.
- we are a branch of the South Leicestershire Litter Wombles tree.
- we are passionate and committed to improving our area for humans and animals.
- It’s a great hobby for exercising with a purpose, meeting new people and taking pride in where we live.
