Volunteer – Household Furniture Van and Mover Required

About this role

Volunteering with LWA can be a very rewarding experience and, by supporting with our donations, you will be making a huge and positive difference to victims of domestic and sexual violence.

Role: to provide support to the organisation and service users with house/furniture moving across the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland areas.

Main responsibilities:

Liaising with the organisation with regards to house/furniture moves
Collecting and delivering furniture from across the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland areas
Supporting with loading and unloading furniture

Requirements:

Use of a van/driving license
Willing to volunteer on weekends/evenings if needed
Well organised and friendly
What commitment is required?

This is an ad-hoc role – support will be required on an as and when needed basis.
