About this role
Tasks/responsibilities:
Transport clients in your own vehicle to and from identified destinations. This may involve a short wait.
Assist clients to get in and out of the vehicle if necessary by providing a steadying hand. No lifting or other actions likely to cause injury are to be used
To act in a manner that is professional at all times
Skills Required:
Holder of a full driving licence
Competent driving skills
The ability to actively listen to and communicate with older people or adults with disabilities
A positive and patient attitude to older age
Reliability
Knowledge of local area (maps provided)
Requirements
- Can drive a minibus
- Driving license
- Willing to take a DBS Check
You will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) disclosure and provide 2 references. These requirements will be administrated by Community Action Partnership.
