About this role
The Board is responsible for the overall governance, financial scrutiny & the strategic direction of Glebe House, whilst developing the organisation’s aims, objectives and goals in accordance with the governing document and legal & regulatory guidelines.
Ideally Trustees have an interest in supporting our service users to achieve their goals in life, by ensuring that the support given by our staff is of high quality and financially sustainable.
Trustees are asked to attend 6 meetings a year, some online some in person and to visit our sites occasionally to ensure that our services are being delivered to the standard required.

Requirements
- Willing to take a DBS Check
We are looking for people who ideally have an interest in supporting a charity dedicated to improving the lives of those with learning disabilities.
We are especially seeking those with financial expertise, HR knowledge, strategic management skills but the main trait we need is commitment to our charity and willingness to contribute at a Board level.
