About this role

This is an exciting new retail opportunity. LOROS shops generate a huge amount of income from the sale of donations, helping us to make a huge impact to the care we provide to patients and families.

We are recruiting over 50 volunteers to help run the largest charity store in Leicester town centre. Based on the High Street, this brand new store will attract a busy footfall, we are looking for volunteers that can help is with the general tasks below, but also have an eye for fashion and presentation of stock, perhaps you can also help with creating content for our social media channels?

Key Volunteer Duties

  • Operating the till
  • Serving customers
  • Promoting gift aid
  • Receiving and sorting donations
  • Steam cleaning clothes and other goods
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised shop

Requirements

  • Willing to take a DBS Check
  • Age restrictions

We are looking for volunteers aged 16 and over and you will be required to have a Basic DBS check done by LOROS.
