About this role
The Children and Family Wellbeing Centres’ focus is to support families to give children the best possible start in life. We want our centres to be safe, supportive and welcoming environments at all times. We respect each other and appreciate differences in cultural backgrounds, disability, gender, religion and specific need. We always aim to work with families in a way which promotes their inclusion, welfare and development and ask that our volunteers do to the same.
There are centres in five different locations across Leicestershire: Blaby, Oadby and Wigston, Melton and Market Harborough, Loughborough, Charnwood and Hinckley. Each of these areas have a number of centres that run groups. We run many groups at the Children and Family Wellbeing Service including Parent Led Stay & Play groups, these are universal groups for all families with children 0-5 years.
