About this role
Responsibilities:
· Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer care.
· Work under the direction of the session leader to help with activities.
· Provide a safe, fun place to be with others – learn new social skills and the chance to try activities they may not get to at home.
· Comply with Health and Safety policy.
· Follow, adopt and demonstrate the values of our charity.
· Represent the Wellbeing Café in a professional and calming manner.
· Identify visitor needs and assist with offering a solution and advice about our services.

Requirements
- Willing to take a DBS Check
- Age restrictions
- Accepts ex/offenders
Personal Skills:
• Be friendly and approachable – be willing to engage with café members and provide a listening, empathic ear to any problems they want to talk about.
• To be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• To have a willingness to learn
• To be able to understand and follow procedures
• To have some experience in working with the public (either paid or voluntary).
• Demonstrate professionalism
• Show confidence when dealing with the public.
• To attend at least one session per week.
• Some experience with vulnerable people would be an advantage but not essential.
