About this role
Leicestershire Shared Reading has been running successfully for 10 years, we have an established committee and an existing volunteer who takes care of the administrative duties of a Secretary, including preparing for and minuting meetings. The Secretary brief we are recruiting for is fairly open and may include helping to set up new groups, liaising with partner organisations, publicising our work and recruiting volunteers.
We currently offer shared reading in the following Leicestershire Libraries: Ashby, Coalville, Melton Mowbray (online) Hinckley, Glenfield, Wigston, Wednesday evening Zoom, Thursday afternoon zoom. New groups are planned in Blaby, Loughborough and Market Harborough.

We are seeking to attract someone with enthusiasm, energy and good communication skills to help take Shared Reading forward in Leicestershire.
