We are searching for empathetic and committed individuals to help us achieve this mission.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Peer Support Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in providing assistance to our Peer Support Worker and helping to facilitate a range of activities for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with our Peer Support Worker to plan and organize engaging Peer Support Groups, Workshops, and Activities Infusing your creativity and skills to contribute fresh and innovative ideas for client activities.
  • Staying informed about local and national events to align our activities with relevant occasions.
  • Participating actively in both local and global awareness days, under the guidance of the Peer Support Worker.
  • Supporting our staff in coordinating and executing client events and group sessions.
  • Assisting in the co-facilitation of Peer Support Groups, Workshops, and Activities alongside the Peer Support Worker.

Requirements

  • References needed
  • Willing to take a DBS Check

• To understand and comply with confidentiality and GDPR procedures.
• To share P3’s commitment to safeguarding and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults who may be at risk of harm.
• To comply fully with P3’s Policies and Procedure
• To have a suitable level of skills and/or knowledge in the chosen area
• To offer non-judgemental support
• To have a welcoming and polite approach to people
• To be supportive and helpful to visitors and staff alike
• To be patient calm and inclusive
• To be punctual and reliable
• To have good IT literacy skills
• To adhere to the contents of the Volunteer Agreement
