About this role
We are looking for someone to join our board as an Operations Trustee to help with the overall running and procedures of the Foodbank.
This would include:
- Ensuring the Foodbank has appropriate procedures to comply with current legislation and good practice including health and safety; safeguarding & GDPR compliance/data protection etc.
- Ensuring the charity’s policies and procedures are reviewed annually.
- Reviewing policies to match what we do, including day to day procedures followed in store.
- Introducing new policies and procedures when and where necessary in order to keep things running simply and efficiently
- Ensuring risk assessments and fire/electrical checks are kept up to date.
Requirements
- References needed
You don’t need specific qualifications but we are looking for someone who has experience in creating and implementing organisational procedures and policies, and can attend monthly trustee meetings in Market Harborough
