Mencap Volunteer Visitor – Wigston, Leicester

We are looking for a volunteer to visit a older gentleman. He’s a quiet gentleman who enjoys spending time relaxing at home as well as getting out and about too. He has a keen interest in watching sports and shopping. He loves to look through holiday brochures too!

He is looking for a volunteer who is very relaxed, calm and patient.

Visits are flexible and expenses are paid too.

He will enjoy spending time with a friendly volunteer like you who has similar interests. By visiting every other month, you will make a huge difference.

You will be introduced and get to know him with the support of a key worker.

When & where do I need to be available?:

*Visits will be every 2 months and can be during the week or weekends.
*Visits will last around 1 hour.
*Visits will take place at his home initially.

Before applying please check your journey to make sure it’s practical for you.

As a Mencap Visiting Volunteer you will be::

*Aged 18 or over
*Friendly, patient and reliable
