About this role
Melton Mowbray Child Contact Centre is a safe, friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents and sometimes other family members. It is a child-centred environment that provides toys, games and facilities to reflect the diverse needs of children affected by family breakdown.
Volunteers are primarily responsible for facilitating meaningful contact between a child or children and a non-resident parent. They work as part of a team on a rota basis and are supported by their team leader and the coordinator.
