About this role
Our homeowner in Birstall is offering to share her home for a very affordable price in return for chats, assistance with trips outside the home and the knowledge that she is not alone in the home overnight.
She would like accompanying to the theatre and other social activities and would like to help with cooking and sharing meals together. You may also be asked to do some shopping for her. You are expected to do approximately 10 hours a week of support for your accommodation.
The accommodation is a private bedroom with other accommodation shared with the homeowner. You will share the kitchen, bathroom and lounge. There are gardens front and back of the home and off road parking for the homesharer.
All bills (except contribution to the council tax) are included in the monthly fee of £35 paid to Homeshare Leicestershire for insurance etc .
Homeshare Leicestershire manage this Homeshare placement on behalf of the homeowner and will require all applicants to complete a DBS check, references and undertake safeguarding training before the homeshare commences and will remain in contact regularly during the placement to ensure you and the homeowner have a positive experience throughout.

The homesharer will undertake a DBS check, ID checks and safeguarding training (online). The opportunity is to live with this homeowner rent free with no bills (except council tax) for as long as you like. Homeshare Leicestershire will monitor this placement to ensure all parties remain happy with the arrangement.
