About this role
Activity:
• Support young people aged 11-16, to get creative and engage in illustration workshops linked to ‘Net Zero’.
• Help us ensure all participants voices are heard and creative outputs are included.
• Assisting the workshop leader in session aims are met.
• Help set up and taking down activities.
• Support showcasing final art piece and celebration event.

Personal Development Opportunities:
– Gain first-hand experience of volunteering in a museum setting.
– Use and develop your communication, engagement and facilitation skills.
– Grow your understanding of art workshop organisation and delivery.
– Benefit from induction and training opportunities offered to our volunteer team.
When: Weekly for 8 weeks, starting 9th October 3:30-5:30pm

Requirements
- Willing to take a DBS Check
- Confident engaging with young people?
- Keen to participate in community activities?
- Supportive to others and have a flexible approach?
- Creative? (No prior art skills are required but would be helpful)
- Environmentally aware?
- Available for all 8 weekly sessions and celebration event on 11th December?
- Happy to provide a DBS? - Cost covered by LCC.
