About this role
Established n 2021 trustees have made grants to established and respected local organisation to help address its immediate priorities of food poverty, language skills and IT and advocacy. The Nottingham University Rights Lab report published in June 2022, ‘Fashioning a Beautiful Future’, describes the many deeply embedded problems affecting the garment and textile industry, a vital component of the Leicester economy. With the potential to recruit additional trustees to take forward its grant making work the existing trustees are keen to ensure that they can better represent the local area by identifying as broad a range of persons with the requisite skills and experiences that they have identified.
