About this role
Front of House volunteers are the first people our patrons meet when coming to the theatre. They are the public face of Concordia, offering a welcoming, courteous, helpful and efficient service to all members of the general public.
You might be in the theatre foyer, welcoming and greeting customers, checking tickets, selling programmes, ice creams, sweets, serving coffee in the coffee lounge or showing people to their seats and dealing with customer enquiries.
Front of House volunteers work as a close team, under the leadership of a Duty Manager who, as well as leading the team is, along with his volunteers, also responsible for the health, safety and security of patrons whilst they are on the premises.
We are looking for somebody with a welcoming and friendly character who is reliable, and ideally has some knowledge or experience of cash handling.

Volunteers will be asked for two references, which will be taken up before they start

Unfortunately, expenses are not available for this opportunity.
Directions: If using the M69, come off at Junction 1 Northbound or Junction 2 Southbound and follow the signs for Hinckley and then Concordia Theatre. No bus services are available directly to the door of the Concordia Theatre, but the bus station is only a five minute walk away from the theatre, which is again well signposted.
