About the service
The Whole Family Relationship service provides families with comprehensive help and guidance that builds stronger relationships and provides strategies to overcome difficulties and challenges, together. The service will focus on 3 main areas: pre and post-natal support, schools and advice and training to support young people and families, and whole family relationships.
About the role
You will be supporting a range of diverse families across Leicestershire through weekly visits, providing guidance and advice learnt through the Family Lives training programme, signposting to Family Lives services such as; the helpline, email and live chat support services, parenting workshops and programmes, as well as other online resources and advice.

As full training and support is given, there are no requirements for existing qualifications or certifications. There will be 4 training sessions provided (weekdays 10am-2pm) before you can start volunteering in this role.
You will be a Family Mentor Volunteer for families living anywhere in Leicestershire, and so a license and access to a vehicle would be beneficial.
Your attitude is everything, if you are willing to give a minimum of 2 hours per week to support families in need, you are already half way there.
