Event Volunteer

About this role

Menphys is a local Charity covering Leicester and Leicestershire that provides a range of services to children & young people with disabilities and special educational needs.

Throughout the year, we have many exciting events, which aim to raise funds for Menphys and awareness of the work that we do.  Volunteering as an Event Assistant will be a flexible role and involve a variety of different tasks, from setting up and taking down the event, welcoming and talking to members of the public, servicing food, and managing the bar.   Ensuring the smooth running of all events.

Purpose of the Role:

1.    Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service.

2.    Follow, adopt and demonstrate Menphys Values.

3.      Represent Menphys in a professional and caring manner.

4.      Welcoming and talking to members of the public.

5.      Assist with various roles, including setting up and taking down the event and the management of the bar and service food.

6.      Assisting with the smooth running of our events.

Personal Skills:
