To support the Art Therapist within our Expressive Moments group. This is a creative activity group for people with dementia and their carers. The group runs every Monday from 10.30am-12.30pm

About this role

To support the Art Therapist in the creative activities, this may be painting, drawing, colouring or gluing, To interact with the attendees. To help set up and clear away the tables and chairs.

It would be helpful to commit to every week, but we are open to working on a rota basis

Requirements

  • References needed
  • Willing to take a DBS Check

It would be ideal if you have some experience of being with someone with dementia. No formal training is required but we do ask our volunteers to attend an hours dementia friends information session.
