Welcome to St Joseph’s Rural Centre, an inclusive retreat located at the heart of the National Forest in Leicestershire. The centre sits adjacent to Mount St Bernard Abbey, a Cistercian Monastery, amidst the beautiful Charnwood Forest. The centre hosts St Joseph’s Tearoom, a shop and deli filled with delicious locally sourced food and drink, Friends of St Joseph’s, a wellbeing and support hub, Cairn Crafts, and a gift shop.

Jobs to include:
Customer Service – Waiting on tables
Cleaning
Pot washing
Assisting with food preparation.

This role does not require any order taking / till management

Specific Requirements or Restrictions

Volunteers must be aged over 16 years. The Cafe is a busy environment, whilst volunteers will have support while training, ideally volunteers will be able to carry out tasks unaided. However, if volunteers have a support worker / parent / guardian who would be willing to support, please make contact to arrange to meet and talk through requirements.
