About this role
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the project aims to support residents who live alone and have lost their confidence in going out into the community and accessing social activities. As a volunteer, you will be matched to an older person, to provide friendly conversation and companionship that overtime, will increase the person’s confidence. This may be through either telephoning befriending, or face-to-face befriending.
