Amateur Dance Competition – Children and Teenagers performing all genres of Dance

A dance competition for local dance schools showcasing a range of different dance styles for children and teenagers between the ages of 3 and 18. Each section is assessed by an adjudicator and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places are awarded. Competitors compete in both sole, duet and trio sections.

About this role

We need volunteers to run the event including reception, back stage and audience management. If you are interested in dance or theatre work it might be an opportunity to gain experience.  If you enjoy watching dance then this would also be an enjoyable experience.

Requirements

  • Willing to take a DBS Check

The event is scheduled to take place in 2025 on 22/23 February and 1/2 March and would normally run from 9.00am through to 8.00pm at the latest each day, this would however be divided into shifts so if you can spare a morning or afternoon then this would be perfect.

We would require a DBS check, but can arrange this on your behalf if you don't already have one.

We would require smart dress and a uniform jacket but again we have some of these we can lend out to volunteers.
