About this role
Loughborough Transition Community Allotment are looking for volunteers who want help out within their community and to make a difference they are seeking more volunteers to help look after their allotment at King George Road, LE11 2PA.
The space is along the brook from Charnwood Water to the canal. We have 3 strips of allotments behind the semis in King George Rd.
The site is mature and a mix of veg and herbaceous and wild flowers. We have a small polytunnel and 2 sheds.
Skills and experience
We are looking for people who want to make a difference and at the same time meet new people and get involved in your local community.
No experience is needed, however if you do have any knowledge of gardening this would be more than welcomed.
We are looking for volunteers who could offer time on Wednesdays between 4-7 and could also work on Saturday afternoons.
