  • Feed the Need Coalville

    We are a small team of volunteers who run an independent food bank from our unit at the rear of 74 High Street Coalville every Saturday from 11am to 12pm. The main opportunities we have for volunteers are on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as our weekly shopping needs which can be done at any time.

  • Wednesday Warm Welcome

    This initiative runs every Wednesday during term time, providing families in need with a warm and welcoming space, as well as a free meal. Participants are encouraged to take part in fun activities together before sitting down to enjoy a delicious meal.

    We are a Rural Community Centre based in Whitwick and provided a varied field of resources for the local community including a Tearoom, Well-being Centre, gardening opportunities. We have been supported by volunteers for many year and have also supported people in need of building confidence.

    Support and Inspire Community Interest Company run community groups for the elderly and older people living with disabilities. Each session is different from craft activities to therapy horses, magic shows, venturing out and much more. Not forgetting tea, coffee, cakes and a good old natter.

  • 9th Leicester (Westleigh) Cubs

    The 9th Leicester Scout Group was formed in 1909 and provides Scouting opportunities for children from the ages of 6 years old up to 25 years old. Cubs meet on Wednesdays at 6.30pm for children aged 8-11. We are located at our own scout hut on Stoughton Road, Stoneygate, Leicester.
