About this role
In this role you may get involved in:
Visiting schools to talk to children about the work of The Air Ambulance Service
Talk about ways schools can fundraise to support our vital work
Build connections locally with schools and groups to arrange further talks and expand our reach.
This role is flexible however most talks will take place during school hours. Talks usually take around 20 minutes and full training will be given, and equipment provided. We are ideally looking for volunteers who are able to commit to regular engagement with us by delivering x4 assemblies per month but any commitment would be welcome.
Having your own means of transport is essential.
Previous experience of presenting would be great but as long as you are confident speaking in front of a group then don’t worry, you’ll be provided with all the training and tools you need. You will also be paired up with a buddy whilst you learn the ropes and become confident to deliver the talks yourself.
Reasonable travel expenses will be covered.
