Full Details:

Come and be part of something special! The 2nd Hinckley (St Peter’s) Scout Group is looking for caring, energetic volunteers to support our growing Beaver, Cub, and Scout sections. Sessions run on Tuesdays at the Mary Forryan Centre, and you can choose the age group and time slot that suits you best:

🦫 Beavers (ages 6–8) – Tuesdays, 5:30–6:30 PM

🐾 Cubs (ages 8–10½) – Tuesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM

⚜️ Scouts (ages 10½–14) – Tuesdays, 7:15–9:00 PM

Volunteering with us is fun, flexible, and incredibly rewarding. Whether you’re leading activities, helping out with games, or supporting young people on their journey, you’ll be making a real difference — and we’ll be with you every step of the way.

You’ll receive full training in Safeguarding, First Aid, and working with young people, plus a free DBS check. No previous Scouting experience is needed.

Every Tuesday (term time) at:

5:30–6:30 PM for Beavers

6:00–7:30 PM for Cubs

7:15–9:00 PM for Scouts

Specific Requirements or Restrictions

All volunteers must be aged 18 or over, complete a free enhanced DBS check, and undertake basic training (safeguarding, First Aid, and youth modules). Full support and flexibility provided throughout.
