Volunteer Fundraiser

Our Thriving and busy community cricket club is looking for volunteers to help raise funds to support the club moving forward in this time of financial uncertainty.  We would love more people to know about us a club as we want to get to know the local community better, not only for sport but also community events.

Currently we generate income through the use of sponsorship e.g. sponsorship boards around the ground, Shirt sponsorship, Clubhouse sponsorship and also social media.

We would love to have one or two more volunteers to help us make contact with potential sponsors and look at new ways of generating income for the club.  This could be by looking to develop the club for venue hire, getting club members to help with fundraising in small ways, or holding community events.

This role is flexible in that it can be done from home with occasional visits to the club or by attending online meetings if preferred.

Full support will be given in the early stages of the volunteer role with a view to more independent working in the medium to long term. We anticipate that this role will develop based on the volunteers that join us, so you will have an opportunity to help us shape this role going forward.
