About this role
Leicester Forest East Community Library is a community resource for the benefit of the local community, run and managed by volunteers offering library services and community activities to the local neighbourhood. These include special interest groups and fund raising events.
We require trustees to join the current team to help manage and run the library. There are monthly meetings and we are looking for people with a bit of time to help the library. The current area that need a trustee for are internet and social media but are looking for skills in IT, Media, Finance, Building management and events to boost our current members.
Most work is done remotely but the job does include meetings at the Library.

The library is currently looking for more Trustees to join the team.
We have five key points for possible Trustees:
1. Responsible for helping with the running of the library
2. Governance of the library – implementing policies and procedures
3. Attending Monthly meetings
4. Sympathetic with the library’s goals
5. Be responsible for a particular area of expertise or sharing a role
