Full Details:

Hosts have a vital role to play in helping visitors to have an inspiring and enjoyable time at Stoneywell. They will lead a small party of visitors around the house on a guided tour, and on occasional busier days be based in one of the principal rooms as a guide. Hosts also help to protect the health and safety of visitors, and play a part in safeguarding the property and its assets.

What’s involved?

•Welcoming visitors to the cottage and helping visitors to discover more by telling stories and anecdotes relevant to the property, its theme and history

•Being able to adapt your approach to meet the needs of different audiences, for example family groups, bearing in mind any access and Equality and Inclusion requirements they may have

•When leading a tour being aware of the need to balance a welcoming and informal approach with the need for good time management
