About this role
We’re recruiting in the following Family Hubs now:
Mondays – The Edge
Tuesdays & Thursdays – Venture House
This role includes contributing to planning sessions, setting up creative and engaging activities for 0–5-year-olds and is part of our Start for Life commitment within our Family Hubs offer.
The role of the Stay and Play volunteer is to:
- set up the room to be inviting and engaging
- plan weekly activities and host the group
- interact with the children and parents
- help clear room up after session and evaluate its impact
- listen and respond to the voices of the children and their families
- Full training is provided, mileage is reimbursed, no previous experience necessary.
This role is within the Family Help Team at Leicestershire County Council
