Without Walls is an all-inclusive support network and community providing services across Leicestershire we deliver support and encouragement to those with a variety of different mental health challenges.
We are looking for volunteers to Meet & Greet members to our Thrive Singing Cafe in Ashby
As a Thrive Meet & Greet volunteer you would assist the organisers with the running of the
session, welcoming guests that come along with carers or family making them feel at easy
and enjoy and participate in the session.
You could be asked to assist with the following:
? To welcome guest arriving at the venue
? To push individuals/guests in wheelchairs
? Make sure everyone has a place and is comfortable
? To assist with the refreshments and the start of the session and at the break
? To give information on the day’s session
? To give assistance with lyrics and pictures on the TV screen to help members
participate in the singing.
? To feedback any issues/concerns/suggestions to organisers running the event
? To assist the organisers with any tasks relating to the session.
A friendly welcome makes a real difference to individual’s well-being attending the session
offering support at the session.
We need people who are compassionate, good with people and interested in enhancing
individual’s well-being.

Our funders ask us to report on the age, gender, ethnicity and location of volunteers who use our service. All reporting is anonymous.
We will share your name and contact details with the relevant organisation as part of your application to a volunteering opportunity.
