About the organisation:

We aim to help the vulnerable, the lonely, the lost and all in our community who require support to build New Growth in their lives. We want to see all who encounter our group, turn the green shoots of New Growth into something which is strong and powerful. We aim to be a source of hope.

Full Details:

We’re a community group that meet at an allotment plot at Rancliffe Allotment. We aim to learn about growing vegetables and fruit, enjoying the outdoors and hopefully planting seeds of hope for each person that joins us. Group members have the opportunity to eat what we grow and any surplus is donated to our Chroma Church foodbank. We hope that every member can contribute and find renewed self value. Our meetings take place every Saturday from 9:30 am until 1pm. We start the day with a Bible reading and prayer. Hot beverages and snacks. We have two plots that we tend and grow lots of produce. We also have general maintenance jobs to tend to; painting our shed, maintaining water collection to water butts and maintaining tools like our petrol trimmer.
