Would you like to be involved in a vibrant festival of arts and culture? We are looking for volunteers to assist with the Community Folk Showcase event as part of Nartan Festival. If you love South Asian culture, or would like to find out more about it, this is the volunteering opportunity for you.
Nupur Arts are excited to introduce a new FOLK event for Nartan Festival 2026! The Community Folk Showcase will be an exciting afternoon of South Asian Folk dance performances (and a bit of Bollywood!). Local community dance groups and Nupur Arts Academy students will be sharing their traditions, stories and culture with audiences from across Leicester and beyond. The event is FREE. We are looking for volunteers aged 18+ to assist with the event.
