To support Club members aged 8-25 every Saturday during term time between 9.45am-1.15pm. Role will include setting up and clearing away activities, assisting club members to take part in activities during the morning and supporting staff members in the running of the clubs
An opportunity to support children and young adults with a special needs and/or learning disability to engage in social activities in a safe environment. You will:
*Assist with setting up prior to the start of the club and packing away at the end
*Meeting and greeting club members, assisting with coats and bags and escorting to the club rooms
*Preparing drinks for the club members
*Offer additional 1-1 support with club activities
*Assist club members with their pack lunch
As part of your volunteering role you will be expected to attend appropriate training and complete an induction prior to commencing the role. You will work closely with other volunteers and Saturday Club Support Workers to ensure the smooth and safe running of the Clubs with direction taken from the Club Leads.
