Leicester Wheels For All Volunteer

We looking for people who enjoy working with people from different backgrounds, have an interest in supporting those with disabilities, who enjoy being in the outdoors and would be interested in supporting our cycle events for disabled people of all ages. We have a fleet of adaptive cycles ranging from hand cycles, trikes, tandems and trikes that take wheelchair users and much more! People with disabilities are not always able to ride standard cycles. For our clients we provide vital exercise, community and a feeling of freedom that cycling can bring.
As a volunteer you will be supported by our Session Leaders who will provide full training. This includes trying out all the different bikes and how to ensure our clients get the most out of the cycling event. We can also train you in bike maintenance.
Volunteers can choose which events they wish to support. Each event is approx. 3 hours including setting up and pack down of the cycles. This an opportunity to take part in enjoyable and rewarding cycle events, which are greatly appreciated by our clients.
