About the organisation:

The Warwickshire branch of CPRE The Countryside Charity. We are working towards a thriving and beautiful countryside for all to enjoy. We have some volunteering opportunities in Leicestershire which we are looking to fill.

Full Details:

Volunteer for this event and be part of the wider Hedgerow Heroes campaign, a CPRE project which aims to plant and restore 100 miles of hedgerow across the country by the end of 2026. As well as being a quintessential part of the English landscape, hedgerows are key for biodiversity and carbon capture.
Arrival is at 9:30 for a hot drink and an introductory talk/demonstration. The morning planting session will then run until around 12:30, when you will be provided with lunch and refreshments. After lunch we will resume planting and finish around 3.
