About the organisation:

Full Details:

Our lovely outdoor space comprises of two newly painted sheds, three raised beds, a pear tree and an apple tree.

People use the garden to enjoy an outdoor refreshment and as an extension to their hired out room. We really want to create a community garden where people can come and enjoy the outdoor space, learn about plant and flower care and enjoy cultivating salad and veg.

We are also really focussed on making the garden accessible to all. The Astroturf and raised beds mean that wheelchair users can access the garden easily.

We currently have two volunteers who come for a couple of hours each week to do some maintenance and look after the plants we have.

The opportunity would suit somebody who has some gardening knowledge and is interested in putting some of their own knowledge and ideas into practice. The volunteer will be supported by an activities coordinator who will help, advise and support.
