About the organisation:

Little Miracles is an award winning charity that supports families of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions and illnesses. We provide a non-judgemental environment where we use our holistic approach to support the needs of the whole family We specialise in providing advice, guidance, support, activities, training and safe places to any family that has a child with an additional need, disability or life-limiting condition or illness. This includes providing support before they are diagnosed and from birth to 25. We have 22 branches from Peterborough to Leicester.

Little Miracles CIO is an award winning charity that supports families with children and young people who have disabilities, additional needs and life limiting illnesses and conditions. We fundraise continuously throughout the year to enable us to support families. We offer Activities, Family support, therapies and much more. We have an enthusiastic Team who are looking for volunteers to help support with our fundraising efforts, this could be helping run a stall at an event or supporting the team by contacting local businesses to involve them in our fundraising efforts.

When and Where:

You will be able to volunteer from home and there may be some attendance at events.

An informal interview with our Volunteer Manager Two references One Professional Reference – Previous employer or volunteer organisation you have worked/volunteered with. One Personal Reference – A friend or someone who has known you personally for 2+ years but is not related to you either by blood or marriage. An enhanced DBS Check to be completed by Little Miracles. Completion of 8 Mandatory Training Courses on our external training platform in line with our Safeguarding policy and procedures. Attendance on an induction session.
