Role Purpose
As a Fundraising Team Member, you’ll help develop and deliver fundraising activities that support the mission and sustainability of Charnwood Eco Hub. From community events to grant applications, you’ll contribute to a small, friendly team working to secure the financial resources needed to grow our impact.

About the organisation:

Charnwood Eco Hub is a not-for-profit, shared community hub based in Loughborough. Our aim is to provide a space to meet, make, fix, create and share sustainable ideas and resources.

Full Details:

Key Responsibilities
Depending on your interests and skills, your tasks may include:
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of fundraising campaigns and events
• Researching and helping apply for relevant grants, funds, and local sponsorships
• Helping to develop creative fundraising ideas (e.g. eco raffles, crowdfunding, donation drives)
• Writing or contributing to funding applications and supporting documents
• Maintaining records of donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities
• Promoting fundraising efforts via social media, email newsletters, or local outreach
• Collaborating with other volunteers and stakeholders to support eco hub goals

Skills & Qualities Needed
• Enthusiasm for sustainability, community work, and charitable causes
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Attention to detail (especially for applications and budgets)
• Creative thinking and a positive, proactive attitude
• Experience with fundraising, event planning, or grant writing is welcome but not essential
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
