About the organisation:

LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers. We deliver care that is special and unique to each individual

Full Details:

The tasks are varied and will depend on the event and what you feel comfortable with. Here is a sample:

· Admin duties including booking out and booking in participants.
· Providing marshalling duties on route of the events.
· Selling and promoting LOROS merchandise, staffing stands as appropriate.
· Cash handling
· Crowd control at large events.
· Selling refreshments to participants and supporters.
· Setting up and clearing down at events.
· Photography/videography and helping to create content for social media
· Representing LOROS at various events and speaking to event participants/the general public

What skills you will need:

· Friendly
· Flexible
· Reliable
· Good Communication and interpersonal skills
· Attention to detail.
· Able to cope with unexpected occurrences

When and Where:

Various hours which can include evenings/weekends
