We custodians of a Grade I listed building built in 1697 and designed by Sir Christopher Wren. We are a heritage and educational site at the heart of the local community, welcoming visitors of all ages. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us maintain the site, support events, and create a friendly and welcoming experience for everyone who visits.

About the Role
We host a variety of events throughout the year, including car shows and ticketed events. Our Events Volunteers are essential in helping these days run smoothly and creating a positive experience for visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Assisting during car shows and public events
• Helping with ticket checking and visitor flow
• Supporting event set-up and clear-down
• Acting as a friendly point of contact for visitors on event days

Who We’re Looking For
• Approachable and helpful
• Happy working in busy, public-facing environments
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Safeguarding
As the site includes educational facilities used by young people, all volunteers will be required to undergo a DBS check (which we will support). Volunteers must follow safeguarding and health & safety guidance at all times.

Time Commitment
Flexible opportunities available on weekdays and weekends.
