Volunteers needed for: Admin, Case Worker/Support Worker & Event Manager

Organization: Eva Organization for Women Location: Leicester, UK

Introduction: Eva Organization for Women is seeking a motivated and organised volunteers to join our team as an Admin, Support Worker and Event Manager. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing administrative support, assisting case workers and support workers, and organizing and managing events for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Admin and social media:

  • Answering phones and emails, filing and organizing paperwork, and managing the organization’s databases
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings, and maintaining a calendar of events
  • Manage our social media platforms and creating engaging content to reach and interact with our target audience

Support Worker:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to clients
  • Assisting clients with accessing community resources and services
  • Supporting clients in their recovery and personal growth journeys
  • Assisting in providing support and resources
  • Conducting intake assessments and managing their files
  • Assisting with the development of case plans and progress reports

Event Manager:

  • Planning and organizing fundraising events, workshops, and other community events
  • Recruiting volunteers and coordinating event logistics
  • Marketing events and managing event budgets

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for helping women and a commitment to women’s rights and equality
  • Experience in event planning and management is an asset

Working hours is flexible, and it is part-time. Most of working time will be based virtual, expect, when you will be asked to help a client to take them the housing benefits, etc.
