About this role
We are excited to announce an upcoming hackathon taking place in schools, aimed at fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students. To ensure the success of this event, we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers for several key roles.
We will be facilitating a total of eight hackathons in Leicester/Leicestershire and are looking for volunteers to fill the following position:
Your Role: To inspire students by sharing your Environmental Chemistry/ chemistry industry experiences and insights.
Requirement: Strong and proven experience in Environmental Chemistry/ chemistry, specifically soil, water and/or air pollution.
Commitment: 1 hour on-site in Leicester, between October 2024 and January 2025 (dates to be confirmed).
Prep: 30-minute virtual briefing call.
Need: 1 industry speaker per hackathon. 8 industry speakers in total.
