About this role
Your role as an Enter & View Authorised Representative is part of the HWLL team of trained volunteers to conduct Enter & View visits to health and social care premises and settings in Leicester and Leicestershire. These visits are undertaken within a supportive environment and are observations, not inspections. You will help gather the experiences and views of patients, consumers, carers and the wider public on behalf of HWLL.
As part of this role, you will be asked to:
· To visit health and social care services to see and hear first-hand how services are provided
· To collect the feedback and views of service users (patients/residents), staff and carers at the point of service delivery
· To observe the nature and quality of services
· To collate evidence-based findings
· To work alongside the HWLL team to report findings and recommendations (good or bad) to service providers and where appropriate, other organisations i.e. CQC, Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council Commissioners , NHS England, Healthwatch England and other identified partners
· To develop insights and recommendations across multiple visits to inform and influence strategic decision making.

Requirements
- Willing to take a DBS Check
We would like to request that all Enter & View Authorised Representatives (trained authorised members) are committed to support the Enter & View Programme for a minimum of 3 months.
Please note that in this role it may be necessary for you to have a standard Disclosure and Barring System (DBS) check.
