Neighbourhood Watch is the largest volunteer-led crime prevention charity in England and Wales. With over 60,000 active volunteers and over 2 million supporter households, we work across local communities and regions to empower and educate people, as well as to bring communities together.
Earl Shilton has 34 Coordinators who cover over 1,800 homes across out town.
They each cover an area they choose. It can vary from five neighbours houses to a whole road. It is the Coordinators choice.
The Neighbourhood Watch Development Worker is available to offer help, support and advice and to help new Coordinators start their scheme.
Coordinators need to live in Earl Shilton. There is no set time for this, it is up to the person concerned and what fits in with them.
The majority of the current Coordinators have been doing this for a number of years, but there are some who have just reached their first year.
