About this role
Hinckley District Scouts are looking for a new District treasurer as our current in is retiring at our AGM in August.
We are looking for someone to join the senior leadership team of the district to help and support the executive committee in delivering the best opportunities we can to the Scouts in Hinckley District.
The role will entail the management of the district finances with regular reporting back to the district executive committee which meet 6-8 times a year.
The district treasurer also ensures that our financial commitments are paid on time and any revenues due in are collected in a timely manor.

- Willing to take a DBS Check
This role would be ideal for someone with bookkeeping / accountancy skills or who has had experience as a treasurer before, however we are also open to people with no experience as training and shadowing will be provided.
The applicant will need to go through a DBS check and two reference's would be required for individuals who are not currently in scouting.
