Community Fundraiser

Warning Zone is a growing charity – a life skills centre based in Frog Island who work with year 6’s from local schools. We are looking for a dynamic volunteer community fundraiser to join our team to help with the continuing growth of our Charity work with the children of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop community fundraising through organising fundraising projects and raising the profile of our Charity. Part of your role will be (on occasion) to assist in organising and attending fundraising events.

The role would be suitable for someone who has lots of ideas about what the charity can do to raise it’s profile within the community – so someone with experience of working with presentations and with volunteers would be ideal. The type of person this role would suit will be someone who is enthusiastic, organised and happy to develop relationships within the community; you will need to be a good communicator.

In return, we offer two social events for the volunteers – one is a food and drink get-together and the second, a day out on a social occasion as well as lots of other opportunities to meet other volunteers. As part of what we can offer we pay travel expenses.
